Barcelona Part XI

2nd Design Studio visit. The man on the right is the artist and the one on the left was our translator. The way this design firm worked was like nothing I've seen before. I really enjoyed the idea that they didn't "stamp their brand personality on every project." It makes sense that every project should be completely different, as they deal with completely different subjects.

Barcelona Part X: Le Segrada de Familia Interior

So this is the interior of Antonio Gaudi's "Le Segrada de Familia." They began building this in 1882 and it is set to be complete in 2026. The builders are working off sketches and ideas by Gaudi himself, as he died in the early 1900s. It was crazy to think that a building of this nature was just being built. After touring our fair share of cathedrals in the past 3 months, it is understood that people just don't make these ellaborate "old school" buildings anymore. Truly amazing.
