This Blog Post is Dedicated to the Steak I Just Ate

The hostel. Bad memories of drunken French guys fighting at 6 am.

On Loan from Her Majesty The Queen

Sorry that these are all out of order.
I'll do it better next time.
As for words for this weekend, I can't even begin to explain everything that happened, tonight. We just got in from Edinburgh. It was definitely a whirlwind of a weekend. Met so many great people. We now have friends in Spain and Australia. It was so hard saying goodbye this morning, and we had only known then for 2 days. It felt like a lifetime. Anywho, here are some pics of Edinburgh as well as Glasgow. Our friends invited us with them to see a concert on Saturday night, in Glasgow. Will have more details and many more photos tomorrow.

Just leaving our mark. Ohio! Represent.

Set of the club in Glasgow. The headliner was "The Ok Social Club"

Playing dress up in the National Museum of Scotland on Day 3 in Edinburgh.

THE EDINBURGH CASTLE at sunset. Many, many more pics of this to come. One of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.

Ah. My eyes are always shut when I'm smiling. It's how you can tell I'm really happy. I was indeed so. This is the first night out in Edinburgh and the night we met our friends from Spain!

On our way to Glasgow with our new friends! 10 quid bought us the hour bus ride there and back, beer on the bus, and the ticket to the concert. Best 10 quid ever spent.

Hostel Friends!!! Me, Gemma, Miriam, Greg, Jesus, D

What travel cases used to look like. If British Airways really had lost our bags, we were going to tell them that this is what we were carrying. Probably worth a bit more than a Samsonite. Just guessing.

The notorious cloned sheep! She was cloned in Edinburgh, so they have it at the National Museum. Rather stuffed but still, a clone none-the-less.

Our backpacks kind of look like us, as individuals. I'm sure you can guess whose is whose. So we are going all "roaming knome" on this, and taking pics of them anywhere we go. This was in Edinburgh. Hopefully they will set foot in Spain soon.

Trampolines

I would never be able to predict the situation I am in right now. That is, watching South Park, in a room full of French people, in Scotland. Just one of the many oddities today.

We saw a man in a kilt, a VERY drunk man, JK Rowling's hand prints, and Hogwarts. Where else could we be, but Scotland?

Ok, maybe we didn't see Hogwarts. But close!

Anytime we've ventured to the suburbs of Newcastle (i.e. on our way to Edinburgh) we see lots of small houses and every single house has a huge trampoline in the yard. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'd love to be a trampoline salesman here. Maybe I'll stay and start a business.

Just One Post About My Obsession

I just wanted to say that it is very odd for me, a huge Who fan, to be listening to the album "Live at Leeds" when I am sitting 2 hours away from Leeds. And that is it. I promise. No more Who stuff.

Other exciting stuff we're doing:

Screenprinting tomorrow!

Taking a weekend trip to Edinburgh, Scotland tomorrow too!

Going to see the London Philharmonic on Valentines Day. (We're wearing little hearts pinned on our clothes, just like Julia Child)

Going to see a documentary about an organization for rehabilitation in prisons. The organization gives guitars to inmates as part of their rehab. Then followed by a short live set by the graduates of the program, as well as Billy Bragg

It's all happening!!
